Chrome extension privacy

“Sarbon — EZLoads sync” is a Chrome extension for JOMA Cargo Inc staff. It works inside your own browser, with accounts you are already signed in to, and it talks to Sarbon’s server and nowhere else.

1.What the extension accesses

  • EZLoads pages you are signed in to: drivers, trucks, locations and loads. It reads them, and when you press a button in Sarbon, it adds locations and loads there.
  • AtoB pages you are signed in to: fuel-card transactions, which it reads so Sarbon can match fuel to trucks.
  • Sarbon (sarbon.io, and its earlier addresses sarbontms.vercel.app and joma-relay.vercel.app): so Sarbon can find the extension and pass your request to it.

It does not read other sites, your browsing history or your passwords, and it does not run on other pages.

2.What it stores

Only a few settings, in the extension’s own storage in your browser: your extension key (the personal key you paste in from Sarbon), the server address of Sarbon, and the time and result of the last sync. Nothing else is saved.

3.What it sends, and where

The data it reads (EZLoads drivers, trucks, locations and loads, and AtoB fuel transactions) is sent to Sarbon’s own server, using your key. Data that Sarbon asks it to enter into EZLoads travels the other way. Nothing is sent to any other server, to the extension’s developers, or to anyone else.

4.No sale, no sharing, no tracking

We do not sell or share this data, we do not use it for advertising, and the extension has no analytics or tracking. Once data reaches Sarbon, the Privacy Policy applies.

5.How to remove it

  • Open chrome://extensions, find “Sarbon — EZLoads sync”, and choose Remove. Its stored key and settings are deleted with it.
  • To stop a key from working, ask the Sarbon administrator to revoke it. A new one can be issued at any time.
